Our Story
Born from the need for better competition resources, Examable empowers students with the proven strategies that transformed our founder’s own academic journey.
Having excelled in state schools in Brighton, I earned a full scholarship to a top private school after being named "Top Performer" with 13 A*s. However, my first Olympiad was a humbling experience as I struggled while my new peers thrived. It became clear that academic competitions required a different approach, one not covered by standard school resources. It felt like an insurmountable task to catch up to students who had been rigorously trained for years. Quality resources did not exist and guidance uncertain, as it seemed others were unwilling to share their secrets.
Determined to bridge this gap, I experimented with various methods and materials, eventually discovering a game-changing approach. This led to my success, achieving 1st place in the South East UK Chemistry competition and achieving Golds in other Olympiads.
Upon joining Oxford University, I found that even top students lacked clarity on effective competition preparation. As I rose to Senior Director in a major competition, I gained a deep understanding of what is assessed and how to best prepare.
The approach to the competition, often falsely claimed to be understood by "specialists", became the foundation of the resources I developed. Our resources are built on proven strategies and focused materials that directly address competition requirements. This practical approach helps students develop problem-solving skills and apply their knowledge effectively in competitions.
The results speak for themselves. Students who struggled before are now winning gold awards, and younger students are excelling in higher-level competitions. Our resources have helped students achieve remarkable success without the need for extra tutoring.

Chemistry Olympiad had always been very difficult and I found it very hard to jump from GCSE content to Olympiad questions in Year 12 when even Year 13s were finding it very difficult. I had seen friends from private schools spend years of practice on Olympiads however in my state school no one had any sessions or practice. However after learning from Examable allowed focused learning in a short space of time covering only the content needed, I was able to catch up and surpass my private school friends and achieved a Gold in the Year 13 RSC Chemistry Olympiad.
